Crappy!

Oh, that's nice. I guess.



I finally had a long talk with John about how he was making me feel and things got better. It took him a couple of days to really understand, but I think he got it.

But then he went and lost his job and the only thing his union had for him was a job in Salt Lake City, over 600 miles away. He took it. He finally does realize he's the provider in our relationship and we're dependent on him, so he has to take responsibility. (Granted, if he hadn't lost his job, he wouldn't have to go out of town...) So, we were all love and snuggles yesterday in anticipation of his leaving. He left this morning at 4am, because he has to drive there in this bout of winter weather we just got. I've been all weepy since I found out he was leaving, but this morning was hard. The longest we've been apart is 10 days or so and this could last 2 to 3 months. I just hope he can come back for christmas and/or my birthday. Otherwise, SLC here I come.

God, he's been gone 6 hours and I miss him already. Bah! If we didn't have so many bills, he could have stayed and we'd be fine with his drawing unemployment for a small while until there is work again around here. But no, we have a ginormous (is that even a word?) amount of debt but hopefully his working 60 hour weeks up there will bring in the kind of money needed to pay off some of our bills.

Meanwhile, I have finals to worry about. And he took our car, so I have no car to get around, so I have to walk everywhere now. Which wouldn't be so bad if it was warm like it was last week, but no, this happens when it gets super cold. I'm telling you, the powers that be are aligning against us at the moment. They better lay off soon, this is crappy and I can't handle it.
